Atlanta Hawks team up with Miracle For Mom
The Miracle For Mom Foundation teamed up with the Atlanta Hawks to host a charity fundraiser at Philips Arena in 2013.
The Hawks beat the Suns 107-94 before an energetic crowd on March 15 and that wasn’t the only victory of the night.
The event raised over $4,000 for a national non-profit organization known as CurePSP to help them search for a cure.
Adam’s mom, Janice, was diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and battled the horrible effects of the disease. PSP is a neurodegenerative brain disease that has no known cause, treatment or cure. It affects nerve cells that control walking, balance, mobility, vision, speech and swallowing.
