ATLANTA – December 3, 2024 - Miracle For Mom, an Atlanta-based 501(c)(3) non-profit that aims to find a cure for debilitating brain diseases, today announced their official call for sponsors for the 2025 Miracle Open Charity Golf Tournament. As part of their Giving Tuesday initiative, the foundation is offering 10% off the top sponsorship packages through the end of 2024.
Founded in 2014, Miracle For Mom is celebrating ten years of fighting brain disease through raising awareness, research contributions and supporting individuals and families dealing with diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, PSP, ALS, CBD, MSA and others. The foundation was founded by Atlanta News First’s Adam Murphy, after his mother, Janice Murphy, passed in 2014 from PSP.
The annual charity golf tournament, The Miracle Open, raises money for this worthy cause through a day of golf, fun and awareness. The 2024 tournament hosted over 240 golfers and raised over $80,000. Previous sponsors include Northside Hospital, Emory Healthcare, Chick-fil-A, The Varsity and more. The next tournament is set for Friday April 25, 2025 at Stone Mountain Golf Club.
